LOCAL GOVERNMENT MINISTRY EMBARKED ONPROJECTS INSPECTION IN LGASBYEDWARD BULUS DAMWESHPlateau State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs hasembarked on an Inspection of projects being executed by the Seventeen LocalGovernment Transitional Implementation Committee chairmen in the state.The tour is led by the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry, Hon. EphraimUsman and his Permanent Secretary, Mr. Davou Sunday Dagwom.On arrival at Mikang Local Government Area, the team’s paid a courtesy callon the Longtel of Mikang, Donald Puntel to inform him about their Mission tothe Locality.The Commissioner told the Royal Father that the Governor Caleb ManassehMutfwang led administration will continue to partner with Traditional Counciltowards maintain peaceful coexistence and initiate critical projects that havedirect bearing on the lives of citizens.Responding, the Longtel of Mikang Donald Puntel while congratulatingGovernor Caleb Mutfwang over his victory at the Supreme Court assured tosupport his administration to succeed.In Mikang, the team Inspected the fencing of primary school at Lifidi, Mikangguest house with 46 rooms and a big conference hall, in addition to a solarpower, renovated police outpost at Baltep, as well as intervention projectsinitiated by the TIC Chairman Mr. Daniel Kumi at Government Girls ModelSecondary School Baltep.On arrival at Shendam town, the Commissioner and his entourage paid acourtesy call on the Long Goemai Miskhom Martin Shaldas the Second in hispalace.In shendam Local Government Area, over ten project in Shendam town andrural areas are currently being executed by the Traditional Implementationcommittee under the Leadership of Nicholas Kemi Nshe.Nshe made this known to the management of the Plateau State Ministry forLocal Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during an Inspection tour.
