The Govership Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas rtd, has expressed his readiness to improve the standard of education in the state with a promise to prioritize the sector as his number one agenda if given the mandate to govern the state.
Kefas stated this at his County home Wukari, the head quarter of the 5 LGAs in the southern zone of the state, comprising Ibi, Takum, Wukari, Donga Ussa and Yentu special development area where the ruling party in the state PDP held a mega rally for the Governorship and House of Assembly rally in preparation for the March 18, 2023 election.
According to him, if elected, his administration will give priority to the sector reiterating that education is the solid foundation for every profession in the world.
“Agriculture, provision of portable water, Youths and Women empowerment, payment of pension and gratuity will receive the desired attention If I am elected as the new governor of Taraba State on 18, March 2023, “
Kefas Promised to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst Tarabans during his tenure as Governor of Taraba state.
“we shall rule the state with fear of God because we are going to govern the state in a transparent way and we shall be fair, just and provide equal opportunity to all and Sundry”
In the area of security, Col. Kefas disclosed that, He will bring to bear his wealth of experience in the Military ‘ I will collaborate with local people in the community to ensure that Tarabans coexistence peaceful, we shall engage them through dialogs, sensitisation and constant town hall meetings”
The Govership Candidate urged the people to pray, support and vote for him on march, 18, 2023 election so that he can actualise his big dream for the state.
“My mission is to move the people of the state from poverty especially our youths and women, we shall by the grace of God address the issue of unemployment and joblessness, I am worried that our youths are roaming the streets with no hope, I promise Taraba youth bright future, my administration will harness the numerous mineral resources in the state that have remain untapped to create
More employment and eradicate poverty”.
He further promised that Taraba State under his watch will wear a new look and will be investors destination point He said.
Earlier in his welcome address, Alh. Inuwa Bakari, the State PDP Chairman , urged Tarabans to come out en-mass and vote Col. Agbu Kefas to victory, describing him as the most qualified and competent among the guber candidates in the march 18, 2023 governorship general election.
Our correspondent reports that there was a presentation of PDP flags to the House of Assembly Candidates in the southern zone.
